NJHS Purpose- The purpose of this organization shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage good citizenship in the students of secondary schools.
Service Requirements: Students will volunteer six hours at Lake Placid Middle School to assist with: Fund Raisers for PTO, NJHS; tutor students before school in math, science, reading or social studies; complete a session as a Tour Guide at Archibold Biological Station; and/or any other Service activities to maintain good standing and to be eligible to go on the end of the year field trip.
