FCAT 2.0 Testing for Reading, Math and Science will begin on April 15 - April 23.
Please see the letter sent home on April 11 for the specific dates for your child's grade level.
State policies:
Electronic Devices—If your student is found with ANY electronic devices including, but not limited to cell phones and smart phones, at anytime during testing, including bathroom breaks, his or her test will be invalidated. The best practice is for students to leave their devices at home on the day of testing.
Testing Rules Acknowledgment—The Writing test includes a Testing Rules Acknowledgment that reads, “I understand the testing rules that were just read to me. If I do not follow these rules, my test score may be invalidated.” Prior to testing, test administrators will read the rules to students, and students must acknowledge that they understand the testing rules by signing their names under the statement.
Leaving Campus—If your student leaves campus before completing the test (for an appointment, illness, etc.), he or she WILL NOT be allowed to complete the test.If your student does not feel well on the day of testing, it may be best for him or her to wait and be tested on the make-up day. Please schedule appointments for another day.
If you have any questions related to this test administration, you may contact Mary Pinson at (863) 699-5030.
