About Lake Placid Elementary
Lake Placid Elementary, the first elementary school in Lake Placid, Florida, was built in the mid 60's. Many changes have taken place since the founding of LPE, but the one constant continues to be the teachers, support staff, parents, volunteers, and administrators who work diligently to create a community that nurtures and educates children academically.
